In the Health Sciences
Library of NYMC |
Updated
December 2011 |
This dynamic list of continually updated resources relevant to cultural diversity is currently available at the Health Sciences Library of NYMC. It was developed to support the School of Medicine's fourth year elective entitled "Multiculturalism in Clinical Practice" under the course director's leadership of Gladys Ayala, M.D., Associate Dean for Student and Minority Affairs. It serves as a spring broad to facilitate culturally competent health care to different patient populations. It also may serve a wider audience of health professionals. When searching the online catalog (http://library.nymc.edu) the terms Cultural Diversity and Cross-Cultural Comparison may be used to retrieve relevant sources. |
| This list was compiled by Cheryl Silver, Librarian at the Health Sciences Libary of New York Medical College. For comments and suggestions, please contact Cheryl Silver at cheryl_silver@nymc.edu. | |||
