What
Is HILOW+?
Founded in 1965 by library professionals in Westchester-area health
sciences libraries, HILOW+ today is a network of health libraries
in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Ulster and Dutchess Counties
as well as Connecticut and the New York metropolitan area. HILOW+
supports free exchange of information and membership in the Basic
Health Science Libraries (BHSL) Network. Any questions or comments
about HILOW+? Contact Mary
Jo Russell at Vassar Brothers.
BHSL
The goal of Basic Health Science Libraries (BHSL) Network is to
maximize free resources for libraries in the Middle Atlantic and
New England Regiions of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine
(NN/LM). Participation in BHSL requires membership in a local consortium,
such as HILOW+, as well as monthly reporting of interlibrary statistics.
Any questions or comments? Contact
HILOW+/ BHSL Coordinator Kathleen
Fiola, at Helen Hayes Hospital.
