Highlights
¤ Re-designed library home page released: March 10, 2008.
¤ Complete planning process to select a new state of the art library system.
¤ Completed plan to upgrade library's computer classroom (room 108).
¤ Created 2 new classes:  SurveyMonkey & Excel pivot tables.
¤ With the Office of Research Administration, co-sponsored faculty support for the NIH Public Access Policy.
¤ Reference staff reached 76% of all NYMC academic departments with orientations and/or training sessions.
¤ Launched instant messaging via MEEBO.
¤ Upgraded poster printer adding higher quality and new options.
¤ Supported distance education via WebEx (LEND/LEADD).
¤ Implemented announcements and classes via entrance Kiosk.
¤ Completed audio visual capital renovation plans for the Medical Education Center and the CIL.
¤ Installed new digital Harveys (cardiac patient simulators).
¤ Completed 14th annual faculty bibliography and co-sponsored the Author Recognition Sherry.
¤ Upgraded library's copiers, scanner, fax, video and digital cameras.
¤ 88% of all documents requested via Interlibrary loan were sent electronically to NYMC users.
