to the Library's Electronic Resources from Off Campus |
| Caution: Use
of the Library's electronic resources is limited to NYMC faculty, employees,
students, residents, and fellows. Any unauthorized usage results in
a violation of the Library contract. To verify users, the Library has
set into place an authentication procedure. |

| A computer with an Internet
access and a Library Barcode -- Information
on obtaining a NYMC Library Barcode |

| Connect
to the Library's Resources from a remote site (off campus) |

please note: student housing
is "off campus" because it is on a separate network |

| |
1.
Click the "Login" link |
| |
2. A page
will appear asking for your Library Barcode and Password. |
| |
3. Enter
your Library Barcode number (no
spaces). |
| |
Example
of a Barcode number:  |
| |
4.
Enter your password, this is your Social Security Number (no spaces,
no dashes). |

5.
Click on "Submit." |
| |
6.
Once your Library Barcode and password are verified, you will have access
to the Library's resources as if you are on the campus network. |
